Guard and Grace is a take on the big, fancy, modern steakhouse – miles and miles of fiery grills and charcuterie, oyster bar and bar tops, private rooms, and a posh, walk-in, and a floor-to-high-ceiling glassed wine cellar.
Prime, certified angus and local grass-fed cuts of beef in 4 to 22 oz. portions appeal to multiple appetites, from discreet to ravenous; and fresh seafood, charcuterie, artisanal cheeses as well as vegetarian selections fill an expansive bill of fare.
Why I love Guard & Grace
I went here for the first time on our anniversary and it was the perfect special occasion restaurant, the food is amazing! It is hard to imagine being ‘better’ than any traditional steak house but this restaurant by Troy Guard certainly takes it up several notches. And don’t be deterred if you do not eat meat, they have a raw bar and a huge variety of fish on the menu.

Children's Hospital Colorado, sees, treats and heals more kids than any hospital in our seven-state region. They are experienced and forward-thinking when it comes to the latest methods for diagnosis and treatment.
Their hospital at I-225 and Colfax on the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora was designed and built to enhance their care for kids. Using data from an innovative type of study called evidence-based design, everything about the hospital was built to help speed kids to recovery. From 100% private patient rooms to healing color therapy and views of nature, every detail of Children's Hospital Colorado was built to help kids get better faster and reduce stress on the whole family.
Why I love Children’s Hospital Colorado
An amazing hospital that cares from our tiniest of babies (even before they are born) up to our teenagers. No one wants to think about needing a hospital for any of their children and for many it will never be needed. Having said that, if you do, there is only one hospital I would consider and it is the Children’s Hospital.
It is also an amazing place to give whether it be with volunteering for those children in need, going to hear a speaker to educate yourself on the hospital, attending one of their many fundraising events or writing a check and helping the hospital provide for its patients. Through care and research this hospital provides treatments, love and care for so many of Colorado’s families.
